Mitt,
This is a copy to the next President of the US. I thought you might want to look at how we deal with unfair trade practices and the WTO failures. No one is talking about it in either party. Americans want a president who will protect American workers while maintaining proper free trade. Of anyone out there I know you know what that means to both investors and US labor. Unfair trade practices cannot be tolerated and commenting on them puts you ahead of the pack. Just a thought Mitt. My contact info is below. I have many more ideas regarding security issues being a veteran with over 20 years experience in the infantry. I now own a small business after years of hard work helping people network their computers in SMB markets.
Thanks,

Mr. President,
After reading the Microsoft ruling in the EU forcing an American company to give up software code to it’s rivals maybe it’s time to suspend trade with the EU. Maybe then after they lose their shirts the socialists hackers can learn to program their own software instead of hijacking our code through the courts. I am appalled that Microsoft would be forced to give up what took millions to develop. As an investor this is ludicrous. It is time for America to stop peace at any price regarding trade regardless of political party and stand up to protect our workers interests. In the end the workers get screwed along with investors.
Another example of unfair trade is healthcare benefits for US workers of Toyota. I feel with their 160 billion surplus, the greedy Toyota people who put GM, Ford, and Chrysler workers out of jobs should pay the piper under the same UAW guidelines. In fact we should make it law that they are allowed to unionize via the UAW. Otherwise the remainder of the US taxpayers get stuck with the healthcare costs. I proposed some time ago to you in a separate email a healthcare tariff tax for products not made in USA with cheap labor or in the USA that fail to pay healthcare benefits. Many carmakers feel that this forces them to outsource jobs to Mexico and Canada to compete. It is probably something we could carry over into other industries. Why should we treat everyone else fairly while the US worker gets the shaft with lower paying jobs with no benefits. If we do not take care of number one no one else will. If people want to pay for foreign vehicles such as Toyota, Nissan, etc let them carry the added price of healthcare costs. This will lower our debt on Medicare expenses on the US taxpayer. It will also raise demand for US made goods. Fair is fair and we need badly a level playing field.
