Let’s hope that this is not another “macaca” controversy that might derail the most beatable of the Democratic candidates, Hillary Clinton.

I was reading this AP story “Obama Raises $25 Million to Rival Clinton Camp” and I see this strange quote from Patti Solis Doyle, the campaign manager for Hillary Clinton. She was asked to comment on Obama’s total and declined. She then issued a statement regarding the fundraising success saying it “demonstrates the overwhelming desire for chug in our country.”

I wasn’t familiar with this strange word “chug”. I decided to look it up and I found the word referenced in the Urban Dictionary at http://www.urbandictionary.com

It’s a word that apparently has several meanings. Does she use it to refer to Barack Obama or Democrat supporters in general? It may be that she will need to explain. One definition that it cites several times is “bush nigger”. Also notable of the definitions there are the following…

1. Chug
Racist slur for Native Americans. Derived from the inference that “all” Native Americans drink “Lysterine”, and “Lysole”

3. Chug

Slang word for stupid welfare natives who live in ditches and are born in shopping carts. For leisure they get stuck in rivers and trees. They have troubles finding jobs due to lack of hygiene. –The Urban Dictionary
