Mitt Romney Staggered by Glen Johnson and DNC Punches

An “escalation” of negative news has come out in the past couple of weeks that has slowed Governor Romney’s momentum heading into the GOP primaries. The articles were somewhat shocking to me since they were so outrageous. The writers were so desperate in their attempts. Clearly, these “hit pieces” were from Romney’s political enemies.

If you look deep into Glen Johnson’s past, you might discover that his ancestors were polygamists. -We are all sons and daughters of polygamists if you look back far enough in your own family tree. But more recently you will find puff pieces he has authored on Al Gore, John Kerry, and Barack Hussein Obama. You also might notice a flurry of articles on certain issues with wich Glen Johnson takes interest. For example there are several articles authored by Glen Johnson in opposition to President George Bush’s attempts to reform social security in early 2005.
Let’s look at some of the articles Glen Johnson has written.
He started almost a year ago in his effort to pin the label “flip flop” on Mitt Romney with this article.
“Romney says minimum wage hike may cut jobs: Critics say he flip-flopped on issue to help presidential run” by Glen Johnson, Associated Press, July 26, 2006
Let’s look at a few of the more recent Glen Johnson articles just over the past couple of months.
“Obama’s appeal foreshadowed at Harvard Law” by Glen Johnson, Associated Press, January 27, 2007
“Romney Now Says He Opposes Abortion” by Glen Johnson, Associated Press, February 7, 2007
“Romney enjoys Democratic rivals’ dust-up” by Glen Johnson, Associated Press, February 23, 2007
“Iran links undercut Romney’s recent plea” by Glen Johnson, Associated Press, February 24, 2007
“Polygamy Prominent in GOP Presidential Hopeful Mitt Romney’s Family Tree” by Glen Johnson, Associated Press, February 24, 2007

Looks like you were onto something early on. Seeing this “reporters” conduct during Romney’s speech today, it’s hard to think he is anything but biased.
