Won the war? No, we just started a civil war that we cannot in any way control.
You might want to check Frank Luntz's recent book, if you think you're so clever with "magic word play." He had the idea long before you did. (Note that Condi Rice kept referring to the escalation /"surge" as an "augmentation."
Boy, that makes a big difference.)
And let me just add that your idea to back off the troops and launch over[sic] (as opposed to launch "under"?) a few nuclear weapons is an excellent one! Can't imagine how many hearts & minds that'll win in the world.
John Kerry's punch line was that if you don't get a good education and learn a few things you'll end up like George Bush, stuck in a quagmire in Iraq. He simply missed saying "George Bush" and said "you'll end up stuck in Iraq," so your friends with their "magic word play" jumped all over an obvious misinterpretation (or is that "misunderestimation," as GWB so cleverly put it? There's someone who has a "magic" way with words.)
Good luck with your hopes for perpetual war (1984 style) and Mormon theocracy!
